Yesterday at the Nebraska Rural Health Association's 24th Annual Conference, we were privileged to hear LeAnn Thieman speak. LeAnn is a nurse, speaker, and author of various Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Her talk hit on many topics, but one part was especially inspiring.
LeAnn shared a story about her involvement in the 1975 Operation Babylift. Before the fall of Saigon, President Gerald Ford initiated the operation to lift Vietnamese orphans to safety. Below is just a piece of LeAnn's story.
